Gastvortrag von Prof. Dr. Søren Bro Pold und Prof. Dr. Chrsitian Ulrik Andersen im ZeM

In Verbindung mit dem Workshop "Encountering Programs: Visions, Orders, Interfaces“ werden Prof. Dr. Søren Bro Pold und Prof. Dr. Chrsitian Ulrik Andersen (Universität Aarhus, Dänemark) einen Gastvortrag mit dem Titel "The Interface after the Interface" im Brandeburgischen Zentrum für Medienwissenschaften halten.

Søren Bro Pold, Ph.D., is Associate Professor of Digital Aesthetics at Digital Design and member of the Center for Participatory Information Technologies at Aarhus University, Denmark, as well as a founding member of DARC (Digital Aesthetics Research Center). He has published on various topics and genres within digital and media aesthetics with a focus on interface criticism, including electronic literature, net art, software art, urban and mobile interfaces and controlled consumption.

Christian Ulrik Andersen is Associate Professor, director of Digital Arts Initiative, and member of the Center for Participatory Information Technologies at Aarhus University, Denmark. His research addresses the aesthetics of digital culture and argues for an interface criticism of the relations between technological developments, human subjectivity, and cultural superstructures. This includes diverse aspects of an interface culture industry that encompasses urban enviroments, games, literature, and academic publishing. He is the co-editor of a series of peer-reviewed newspapers published in collaboration with transmediale (Berlin) and the journal A Peer-reviewed Journal About Link
