Aktuelles Winter 2015/2016

For a research series on »Theories & Practices of Community«, initiated by the University of Potsdam and the University of Haifa, three internal workshops will focus on questions of (1) alterity and socialty, (2) performativity and mediality, as well as (3) ethnicity and historicity.

The first internal workshop took place at Schloss Reichenow in Brandenburg in July 2015, launched the project and welcomed Dr. Alice Lagaay from the University of Bremen as invited guest debater. The second internal workshop took place at the University of Haifa from 15 to 24 November 2015 and welcomed Simon Vincent from the University of Applied Sciences, Potsdam. The third internal workshop is at the University of Potsdam on 27 January 2016 and welcomes Prof. Mirjam Schaub from the University of Applied Sciences, Hamburg as guest debater.
